Today on RSE, the market recorded 1,000 BoK shares and 400 Bralirwa shares valued at Rwf 516,6000 in two deals compared to the previous trading session which was quiet with no trades recorded.
The RSE share index (RSI) went down 0.99 points to close at 217.91 and mainly caused by the falling Bralirwa and BoK share price which closed at Rwf 849 and Rwf 177 respectively.
BoK shares traded and closed at Rwf 177, translating into a decline of Rwf 3 compared to yesterday’s closing price whereas Bralirwa counter traded and closed at Rwf 849, translating into a decline of Rwf 1 compared to yesterday’s closing price.
KCB shares last transacted at Rwf 175 while NMG shares last transacted at Rwf 1,200. At the end of formal trading hours, there were outstanding offers of 796,200 BoK shares between Rwf 177-198 and outstanding bids of 1,010,000 shares between Rwf 165-170.
On Bralirwa counter, there were outstanding offers of 230,100 shares between Rwf 849-890 and no outstanding bids. On KCB counter; there was an outstanding bid of 5,000 shares at Rwf 180 and no outstanding offers.
