Bralirwa shares hit low at end of trade week

The RSE share index (RSI) went down 1.64 points to close at 264.08 resulting from a drop in Bralirwa share price which closed at Rwf456. The company had a good performance through this week making most activity on RSE counters.

The market recorded a total turnover of Rwf41, 817,400 from 92,000 Bralirwa shares traded in thirteen deals compared to the previous trading session which recorded a total turnover of Rwf1, 890,000 from 4,000 Bralirwa shares traded in three deals.

The Bralirwa counter traded at a high of Rwf458 and low of Rwf453, before closing at Rwf456, translating into a decline of Rwf4 compared to yesterday’s closing price. BoK shares price remained at Rwf293 as no transaction took place on its counter.

On the other hand KCB, NMG, and Uchumi Supermarket’s shares last transacted at Rwf185, Rwf1200 and Rwf175 respectively. At the end of formal trading hours, there were outstanding offers of 172,900 BoK shares between Rwf290-315 and no outstanding bids.

On Bralirwa counter, there were outstanding bids of 23,900 shares between Rwf445-455 and outstanding offers of 2,000 shares at Rwf460.

On KCB counter; there were outstanding bids of 5,100 shares between Rwf175-180 and no outstanding offers.

On USL counter; there was an outstanding offer of 7,200 shares at Rwf175 and no outstanding bids.
