Rwanda bourse stagnates

For the second day in a row the Rwanda Stock Exchange (RSE) share index remained at 259.85 The Bralirwa counter traded and closed at Rwf860, remained unchanged from yesterday’s closing price. Bank of Kigali (BoK) shares price remained at Rwf 317 as no transaction took place on its counter.

The market recorded a total turnover of Rwf 89, 956,000 from 104,600 Bralirwa shares traded in four deals compared to yesterday’s trading session which recorded a total turnover of Rwf 3, 354,000 from 3,900 Bralirwa shares traded in four deals.

On the other hand KCB, NMG, and Uchumi Supermarket’s shares last transacted at Rwf185, Rwf 1200 and Rwf 175 respectively. At the end of formal trading hours, there were outstanding offers of 255,400 BoK shares between Rwf 316-330 and no outstanding bids.

On Bralirwa counter, there were outstanding offers of 27,600 shares between Rwf860- 890 and outstanding bids of 300 shares at Rwf855.

On KCB counter; there were outstanding bids of 5,100 shares between Rwf175-180 and no outstanding offers. On USL counter; there was an outstanding offer of 7,300 shares at Rwf175 and no outstanding bids
