Rwanda STOCK Exchange weekly performance hits low

This week the RSE market activity was lower compared to the previous week’s trading session. The total turnover for this week was Rwf 17,402,300 from 4,500 Bank of Kigali {BoK} shares and 18,600 Bralirwa shares traded in 17 deals compared to the last week’s trading session which recorded a total turnover of Rwf 88,201,000 from 264,200 BoK shares and 1,900 Bralirwa shares traded in 19 deals.

Today, the RSE market recorded a total turnover of Rwf 12, 646,000 from 14,700 Bralirwa shares traded in Four deals compared to the last Wednesday’s trading session which recorded a total turnover of Rwf 2, 041,200 from 1,200 Bralirwa shares and 3,100 BoK shares traded in four deals.

The RSE share index (RSI) remained at 260.91 The Bralirwa counter traded between Rwf 860-861and closed at Rwf861, remained unchanged compared to Wednesday’s closing price.

BoK share price remained at Rwf 326 as no transaction took place on its counter. On the other hand KCB, NMG, and Uchumi Supermarket’s shares last transacted at Rwf 185, Rwf 1200 and Rwf 175 respectively.

At the end of formal trading hours, there were outstanding offers of 135,200 BoK shares between Rwf 326-340 and no outstanding bids. On Bralirwa counter, there were outstanding offers of 102,500 shares between Rwf 861-890 and outstanding bids of 20,000 shares at Rwf 850.

On KCB counter; there were outstanding bids of 5,100 shares between Rwf 175-180 and no outstanding offers. On USL counter; there was an outstanding offer of 7,300 shares at Rwf 175 and no outstanding bids.
