BOK shares boost Rwandan Bourse

The RSE share index (RSI) went up 1.11 points to close at 243.12 and mainly pushed by the rising BoK share price which closed at Rwf280.

The total turnover for the day was Rwf43, 617,400 from 165,500 BoK shares and 1,400 Bralirwa shares traded in 13 deals compared to the previous trading session which recorded a total turnover of Rwf59, 935,200 from 225,300 BoK shares; 1,600 Bralirwa shares and 6,400 USL shares traded in 17 deals.

BoK shares traded between Rwf256-280 and closed at Rwf280, registering an increase of Rwf5 compared to yesterday’s closing price whereas Bralirwa counter traded between Rwf838-840 and closed at Rwf 840, translating into a decline of Rwf1 compared to yesterday’s closing price.

KCB shares last transacted at Rwf185 while NMG and Uchumi Supermarket shares last transacted at Rwf1,200 and Rwf175 respectively.

At the end of formal trading hours, there were outstanding bids of 193,600 BoK shares between Rwf250-257 and no outstanding offers. On Bralirwa counter, there were outstanding offers of 47,600 shares between Rwf840-890 and an outstanding bid of 500 shares at Rwf838.

On KCB counter; there was an outstanding bid of 7,400 shares at Rwf174 and no outstanding offers. On NMG counter; there were outstanding bids of 2,000 shares between Rwf1, 200-1320 and no outstanding offers.

On USL counter; there was an outstanding offer of 1,000 shares at Rwf175 and an outstanding bid of 200 shares at Rwf160.
