Rwanda Bourse trading week performs well

Today on the Rwanda Stock Exchange market no transaction took place compared to yesterday’s trading session which recorded a total turnover of Rwf 30,217,600 from 113,500 BoK shares; 1,100 Bralirwa shares and 2,000 USL shares traded in six deals. The RSE share index (RSI) remained at 242.01.

BK and BRALIRWA shares prices remained unchanged from yesterday’s closing prices of Rwf 275 and Rwf 841, respectively. KCB shares last transacted at Rwf 185 while NMG and Uchumi Supermarket shares last transacted at Rwf 1,200 and Rwf 170 respectively.

At the end of formal trading hours, there were outstanding bids of 30,300 BoK shares between Rwf 250-255 and outstanding offers of 20,000 shares between Rwf 275-280. On Bralirwa counter, there were outstanding offers of 316,200 shares between Rwf 840-890 and an outstanding bid of 1,700 shares at Rwf 835.

On NMG counter; there was an outstanding bid of 1,000 shares at Rwf 1,320 and no outstanding offers. On USL counter; there was an outstanding bid of 1,000 shares at Rwf 170 and no outstanding offers.

This week the RSE market activity was higher compared to the previous week’s trading session. The total turnover for this week was Rwf 828,254,600 from 2,146,100 BoK shares ; 341,800 Bralirwa shares and 2,000 USL shares traded in 41 deals compared to the last week’s trading session which recorded a total turnover of Rwf 98,726,000 from 238,600 BoK shares ; 47,800 Bralirwa shares and 500 USL shares traded in 27 deals.
