The total turnover for this week was Rwf 3,274,328,600 from 2,099,000 Bank of Kigali {BoK} shares ; 3,285,600 Bralirwa shares and 500 USL shares traded in 37 deals compared to the last week’s trading session which recorded a total turnover of Rwf 1,963,764,200 from 5,597,200 BoK shares ; 699,400 Bralirwa shares and 1,000 USL shares traded in 30 deals.

Today on Rwanda Stock Exchange, the market recorded 2,200 Bralirwa shares valued at Rwf 1, 830,500 in three deals compared to the previous trading session which recorded 21,500 BoK shares and 14,200 Bralirwa shares that were valued at Rwf 17, 174,500 in eight deals.

The RSE share index (RSI) went up 2.02 points to close at 236.56 and mainly pushed by the rising Bralirwa share price which closed at Rwf 840.

The Bralirwa counter traded at a high of Rwf 840 and low of Rwf 830 before closing at RwF 840, increasing by Rwf 10 from yesterday’s closing price whereas BoK counter was quiet with no shares recorded. KCB shares last transacted at Rwf 185 while NMG and Uchumi Supermarket shares last transacted at Rwf 1,200 and Rwf 165 respectively.

At the end of formal trading hours, there were outstanding offers of 225,000 BoK shares between Rwf 246-260 and outstanding bids of 851,800 shares between Rwf 235-245. On Bralirwa counter, there were outstanding offers of 464,600 shares between Rwf 840-890 and outstanding bids of 11,300 shares at Rwf 830.

On KCB counter; there were outstanding bids of 12,400 shares between Rwf 175-180 and no outstanding offers. On NMG counter; there was an outstanding bid of 1,000 shares at Rwf 1,200 and no outstanding offers.

On USL counter; there was an outstanding offer of 3,000 shares at Rwf 175 and outstanding bids of 6,800 shares between Rwf 151-165. This week the RSE market activity was higher compared to the previous week’s trading session.
