Rwanda Stock Exchange counters close with few deals

The total turnover for the day was Rwf 32,812,800 from 133,500 Bank of Kigali {BoK} shares traded in three deals compared to the previous trading session which recorded a turnover of Rwf 1, 641,627,400 from 5, 250,700 BoK shares; 416,400 Bralirwa shares and 1,000 USL shares traded in twelve deals.

The RSE share index (RSI) remained unchanged compared to the previous trading session of 235.25.

The BoK counter traded at a high of Rwf 250 and low of Rwf 245 before closing at Rwf 250, unchanged from yesterday’s closing price whereas Bralirwa counter was quiet with no shares recorded.

KCB shares last transacted at Rwf 185 while NMG and Uchumi Supermarket shares last transacted at Rwf 1,200 and Rwf 175 respectively.

At the end of formal trading hours, there were outstanding offers of 75,500 BoK shares at Rwf 250 and outstanding bids of 1,249,300 shares between Rwf 230-245.

On Bralirwa counter, there were outstanding offers of 454,000 shares between Rwf 840-890 and no outstanding bids. On KCB counter; there were outstanding bids of 12,400 shares between Rwf 175-180 and no outstanding offers.

On NMG counter; there was an outstanding bid of 1,000 shares at Rwf 1,200 and no outstanding offers. On USL counter; there were outstanding offers of 3,500 shares between Rwf 165-175 and no outstanding bids.
