RSE ends week with increase in transactions

Today, the RSE market recorded a total turnover of Rwf 3,977,200 from 12,200 BK shares and 1,200 Bralirwa shares traded in 4 deals compared to yesterday’s trading session which ended with no transaction.

The RSE share index (RSI) went down by 0.93 points to close at 234.89 resulting from a decrease of Rwf 2 each, in BK and Bralirwa share prices. BK shares traded at Rwf 243 and Rwf 244 and closed at Rwf 244; a decrease of Rwf 2 from yesterday’s closing price.

Bralirwa shares traded at Rwf 840 and Rwf 846 to close at Rwf 846 translating into a decrease of Rwf 2 from yesterday’s closing price. On the other hand KCB, NMG, and Uchumi Supermarket’s shares last transacted at Rwf 185, Rwf 1200 and Rwf 175 respectively.

At the end of formal trading hours, there were outstanding bids of 5,600 BoK shares between Rwf 225 and Rwf 230 and outstanding offers of 192,600 BoK shares between Rwf 245-250. On Bralirwa counter, there was an outstanding bid of 5,400 shares at Rwf 835 and outstanding offers of 1,167,200 shares between Rwf 846-890.

On KCB counter; there were outstanding bids of 12,400 shares between Rwf 175-180 and no outstanding offers. On NMG counter, there was an outstanding bid of 1,000 shares at Rwf 1,200 and no outstanding offers.
