The total turnover for this week was Rwf 450,166,800 from 4,300 Bank of Kigali {BoK} shares and 528,500 Bralirwa shares traded in 22 deals compared to the last week’s trading session which recorded a total turnover of Rwf 170,695,000 from 610,000 BoK shares and 22,200 Bralirwa shares traded in eighteen deals

Today, the RSE share index (RSI) went up 1.31 points to close at 235.55 and mainly pushed by the rising BoK share price which closed at Rwf 245. The BoK counter traded at a high of Rwf 245 and low of Rwf 240 before closing at Rwf 245, registering an increase of Rwf 5 compared to yesterday’s closing price whereas Bralirwa counter was inactive today with no trades recorded.

The market recorded 1,900 BoK shares valued at Rwf 464,700 in five deals compared to the previous trading session which recorded a total turnover of Rwf 448,208,700 from 1,500 BoK shares and 527,000 Bralirwa shares traded in thirteen deals.

KCB shares last transacted at Rwf 185 while NMG and Uchumi Supermarket shares last transacted at Rwf 1,200 and Rwf 175 respectively. At the end of formal trading hours, there were outstanding offers of 42,500 BoK shares between Rwf 245-260 and outstanding bids of 12,200 shares between Rwf 220-240.

On Bralirwa counter, there were outstanding offers of 453,500 shares between Rwf 848-890 and an outstanding bid of 400 shares at Rwf 835. This week the RSE market activity was higher compared to the previous week’s trading session.
