The RSE share index (RSI) went up 0.73 points to close at 218.64 and mainly pushed by the rising Bralirwa and BoK share price which closed at Rwf 850 and Rwf 179 respectively.
The total turnover for the day was Rwf 1,287,924,600 from 93,100 BoK shares and 1,500,000 Bralirwa shares traded in 15 deals compared to yesterday’s trading session which recorded a total turnover of Rwf 516,600 from 400 Bralirwa shares and 1,000 BoK shares traded in 2 deals.
BK shares traded between Rwf 175-179 and closed at Rwf 179, registering an increase of Rwf 2 compared to yesterday’s closing price whereas Bralirwa counter traded between Rwf 844-850 and closed at Rwf 850, registering an increase of Rwf 1 compared to yesterday’s closing price.
KCB shares last transacted at Rwf 175 while NMG shares last transacted at Rwf 1,200. At the end of formal trading hours, there were outstanding offers of 378,900 BoK shares between Rwf 179-190 and outstanding bids of 1,010,000 shares between Rwf 165-170.
On Bralirwa counter, there were outstanding offers of 2,552,300 shares between Rwf 845-890 and no outstanding bids. On KCB counter; there was an outstanding bid of 5,000 shares at Rwf 180 and no outstanding offers.
