The RSE share index (RSI) went down 0.46 points to close at 218.7 and mainly caused by the falling Bralirwa and BoK share price which closed at Rwf 849 and Rwf 180 respectively.
The total turnover for the day was Rwf 13,467,000 from 70,100 BoK shares and 1,000 Bralirwa shares traded in three deals compared to the previous trading session which recorded a total turnover of Rwf 1,783,200 from 2,100 Bralirwa shares traded in four deals.
BoK shares traded and closed at Rwf 180, translating into a decline of Rwf 1 compared to yesterday’s closing price whereas Bralirwa counter traded and closed at Rwf 849, translating into a decline of Rwf 1 compared to yesterday’s closing price.
KCB shares last transacted at Rwf 175 while NMG shares last transacted at Rwf 1,200. At the end of formal trading hours, there were outstanding offers of 430,600 BoK shares between Rwf 180-199 and no outstanding bids.
On Bralirwa counter, there were outstanding offers of 144,700 shares between Rwf 850-890 and no outstanding bids. On KCB counter; there was an outstanding bid of 5,000 shares at Rwf 180 and no outstanding offers.
