Today on RSE, the market recorded 1,500 BoK shares and 3,900 Bralirwa shares valued at Rwf 3, 586,500 in three deals compared to the previous trading session which recorded 1, 014,300 BoK shares and 2,800 Bralirwa shares that were valued at Rwf 184, 995,100 in seven deals.
The RSE share index (RSI) went down 1.54 points to close at 219.16 and mainly caused by the falling Bralirwa and BoK shares prices which closed at Rwf 850 and Rwf 181 respectively. BoK shares traded and closed at Rwf 181, translating into a decline of Rwf 2 compared to yesterday’s closing price whereas Bralirwa counter traded and closed at Rwf 850, translating into a decline of Rwf 5 compared to yesterday’s closing price.
KCB shares last transacted at Rwf 175 while NMG shares last transacted at Rwf 1,200. At the end of formal trading hours, there were outstanding offers of 392,500 BoK shares between Rwf 183-200 and an outstanding bid of 2,000 shares at Rwf 180. On Bralirwa counter, there were outstanding offers of 104,400 shares between Rwf 850-890 and no outstanding bids. On KCB counter; there was an outstanding bid of 5,000 shares at Rwf 180 and no outstanding offers.
