The RSE share index (RSI) went down 1.27 points to close at 220.70 and mainly caused by the falling Bralirwa and BoK share prices which closed at Rwf 855 and Rwf 183 respectively. The total turnover for the day was Rwf 184,995,100 from 1,014,300 BoK shares and 2,800 Bralirwa shares traded in seven deals compared to the previous trading session which recorded a total turnover of Rwf 10,854,500 from 42,100 BoK shares and 3,800 Bralirwa shares traded in seven deals.
BoK shares traded between Rwf 180-183 and closed at Rwf 183, translating into a decline of Rwf 1 compared to yesterday’s closing price whereas Bralirwa counter traded between Rwf 855-860 and closed at Rwf 855, translating into a decline of Rwf 5 compared to yesterday’s closing price.
KCB shares last transacted at Rwf 175 while NMG shares last transacted at Rwf 1,200. At the end of formal trading hours, there were outstanding offers of 396,100 BoK shares between Rwf 183-200 and an outstanding bid of 600 shares at Rwf 180. On Bralirwa counter, there were outstanding offers of 94,800 shares between Rwf 860-890 and an outstanding bid of 2,900 shares at Rwf 850. On KCB counter; there was an outstanding bid of 5,000 shares at Rwf 180 and no outstanding offers.
